Well Wyndham Clark is a bit of a twat. That sums up last week, so let's move on to East Lake and the finale of the PGA Tour season.

I will post the handicap system this week at the bottom of the page, but we are selecting only on Play Off finishes this week and not betting on other markets. Scheffler starts at 10 under then Schauffelle at 8 under and it goes down the list from there until those ranked 26-30 start on even par.

East Lake as we know it, is no more and Andrew Green after his genial renovation of Oak Hill, has gone at this place with the same method, making the old part of the new. A par 71 measuring 7490 yards has added length, contouring and size of greens, creating more of a risk reward layout and chances to make low and high numbers in equal measure. The change is so stark that form here almost goes in the bin and in a short summary of our 3 picks, we go for the top end of the field and players who won't have used up too much of their energy which will be much needed in the heat this week after a long tough campaign.

Three selections and we go in as promised with Fed ex specialist, dullard and tee to green guru PATRICK CANTLAY. He starts this week at 4 under, and the languid, tee and green plotter does relish coming from behind. He is a poor front runner, and lowering expectations aligned with an upturn in form and a relatively quiet and low key season make him a real sleeper. There is the chance to play at 3 and 4 places this week, and we go for 3 as he can win this, and at 25/1 4 places, I want the 40/1 for 3 places with Betfair at 6pts e/w.

Next up last weeks arse could be this weeks ace and WYNDHAM CLARK is again selected. His scorecard last week resembled a premium rate phone number, as a plethora of birdies, bogeys, eagles and doubles, mixed in with the odd par saw the rollercoaster fall off the rails on the 71st hole as he buggered up the short par 5 and made 7 ruining his place chance. He is clearly putting ok, he is blowing a bit hot under the collar, but he did finish 3rd in the 72 hole scoring last year and just 6 back again, his aggression could be a key, if that bird who soothes his nut manages to keep him level. He's 40/1 3 places, so I'm taking 33/1 4 places with Bet365 this week and again we are 6pts e/w.

Now we go hail mary, and at 2 under and 8 back, we can't see the year out without putting up blog favourite and cash machine that is BOB MCINTYRE. Bob has proven his prowess on the big stage, he has kicked the door down for both of his wins this year, he makes his own running and he is a moments player, who does the big things at the right times. It's a punt yes, but he has the approach play and putter to deal with these links type undulations, and if he rolls his rock early he could go low and set this up. He's partied some weeks this year when others have been slogging, the heat may be a negative, but at a whopping 275/1 - 4 places, Bob will do for me and is our last 3pts e/w with Bet365.

Below are the starting scores, go well, and we will sum up the season next month, whatever happens, bet responsibly and don't give those tidy profits away at this late stage. Up the thieves.
